There's a verse of scripture, Romans 8:32. I've been rattling around this verse for a couple of weeks now.
"He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all. How will He not also, with Him, freely give us all things."
The concept that Paul is trying to teach us here is that if he already gave us the most important, most valuable, thing that he could ever give us -- the thing that is of the highest value to God is His son Jesus. Yes? -- If he gave us that. Then what could possibly be of more value to the Lord that he would not give it to us?
No, He has demonstrated that He's willing to give it ALL for you and me. Every good thing is ours, freely given by God. AMEN.
I want to connect this idea of God freely giving to the fact that He so dearly loves you and me. And this was something that I really felt God led me into as I've been meditating on this verse. That it's not just because God's a great giver. And He is!
But it is because He loves us so much.
So, what good thing do you need from your heavenly Father who so dearly Loves you? Come boldly to the One who sacrificed it all so that He could make a way for you to dwell with Him forever and lavish on you the wonders of His kingdom!
