These are not my words! These are the words of the Apostle Paul who wrote:
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. (Rom 5:17) How do we receive these two things? How do we receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness that we might reign in life through Jesus? Through faith! Everything is by grace, you couldn't earn it, through faith, you get it when you believe in the Lord. So let us humble ourselves today, knowing that we don't have the power to earn one lick of what God has, yet believe in God that He has FREELY given us everything pertaining to LIFE through His son Jesus Christ. Simply put, God has already released an abundance of favor, a too-much favor, a more-than-you-could-ever-need favor to you and your house. And not only that, but He has also granted you perfect right-standing with Himself, at all times, in every circumstance, forever and ever. AMEN. Believe it and walk in the authority of THE King. #bibletime #jesusistheway #biblestudy #dailybible #apologetics #jesuschrist #osas #faith #liveyourfaith #makejesusviral #jesuslovesyou #bibleversedaily #christianpodcast #dailybiblereading #shespeakstruth #churchlife #gospelofgrace #graceofgod #takeyourmeds #jesusislord #graceandtruth #keepfaith #salvation #goodnews #salvation #Jesus #christian

How are you doing with this? Are you receiving the abundance of grace or are you rejecting it?
Are you saying, "I can't have God's favor because I'm not good enough?" Or are you saying, "I don't deserve it but Jesus paid for me to have it with His blood?" Grace, means unearned favor. God has given it freely. And how do we receive it? We are able to receive all that God has for us through faith. By grace through faith! So let us trust God that he has given His favor for every good thing to flow in our life through what Jesus did, and not because of anything we are doing. Study Scripture for today: Romans 5:17. This is such an amazing verse of scripture. try to spend some quite time today soaking in it and see what the Spirit of God teaches you! #bibletime #jesusistheway #biblestudy #dailybible #apologetics #jesuschrist #osas #faith #liveyourfaith #makejesusviral #jesuslovesyou #bibleversedaily #christianpodcast #dailybiblereading #shespeakstruth #churchlife #gospelofgrace #graceofgod #takeyourmeds #jesusislord #graceandtruth #keepfaith #salvation #goodnews #salvation #Jesus #christian Those of us who have believed onto Jesus Christ and we've confessed him as Lord, we are now the righteousness of God. We are not our righteousness.
It's not based on what we do. It's not based on our behavior. We have been given a gift of righteousness. That means that His perfection, His purity, all His right decisions that he always makes, all that is credited to you and me in Christ, and even more than that, He caused us to be birthed of these things! You know, there's all kinds of things that we come up with. Such as, "If you sin tomorrow and you don't confess it, then you're not forgiven." That's nonsense. That's not what the Bible teaches. Or another would teach, "You didn't believe enough to be saved because there's still sin in your life." That's not the truth! The truth is that you are righteous. You are righteous with somebody else's righteousness. And because it's not yours to begin with, you can't make it unrighteous. It's perfect. It will never be changed by what you or I do. He actually became all the grotesque sin on our behalf. If you can imagine the sins that have been committed across the years by the billions of people on the planet, Jesus Christ became all of that at the cross. I don't think that I have a real understanding of what that would entail. Scripture says, "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." So because he became our sin, he took it from us, as you and I do not have it. Jesus Christ took it to the cross, and we are now RIGHT with God. This desiring does not come with demands. It does not come with, "Straighten up!" It doesn't come with, "You gotta act and be a certain way for Me!" No, it comes with a complete and utter acceptance of who you are, right now and forever. And the things that are off or not good-- and I'm sure you're aware of some things that you think, some things that you've done or are doing, the decisions that you've made that were not right-- God is taking care of those things. He's going to wash them away forever. You do not see the fullness of the freedom from the bad stuff now, but you will see it in the future. He's making all parts of you and I new. He's making us new from the inside to the outside and it's not something that you are going to mess up. It's not something that you are going to miss. His love not only accepts you as you are, but he's gonna wash away every part that is error or failure. Yes! And he's going to complete us with his very Spirit, full of power. AMEN! No, he ate because he was not willing to be separated from Eve. You see Adam was not deceived. He knew what the Lord told Him was true, that he would die if he ate (1 Tim 2:14). So then it becomes very easy to see if you ask yourself the question, "Why would Adam eat the forbidden fruit if he knew he was going to die?" And the answer is so simple, it's because he loved his bride and he was not gonna be severed from her. If she was going to enter into death, he was going to go with her and go through that death so that he could be with her in it. And this is not on accident. It was written into the fabric of who Adam is! Because Adam is a type, a foreshadowing, of the person of Jesus Christ (Rom 5:14), our God in the flesh who was willing to enter into death on our behalf because of His great love for us and desire to be with us. Except Jesus Christ could do something that Adam couldn't do. Jesus could rescue his bride. He could deliver his bride from death. So there is this beautiful picture to be seen, that the ultimate sacrifice, which is Jesus dying for our sins because of the great love for which He loved us, was foretold in the very first two people that God ever created. It accomplished the complete forgiveness of our sin. He died the death that we owed.
Our God loved us so much that he decided He would take the consequences of our failures and our faults and our imperfections, and that He would take the full weight of condemnation for us. The judgment for our wrongs is COMPLETED through the work of the cross, and we can come boldly into His kingdom. Everyone who has believed that Jesus rose from the dead and confessed Jesus as Lord has officially received the invitation to eternal life. It's now yours! Have you not yet RSVP'd? That's ok, no need to wait! Take a moment to confess to our God that you believe that Jesus rose from the dead, He took the penalty for your sins and that Jesus is Lord. So let me ask you, what kinds of things do you think are pertaining to life and godliness? What things are of God's kingdom? The Creator and His glory, His majesty, His power? What things are of His perfection and purity and goodness? And what pertains to life, to vitality? Let us meditate on this question a little. What kinds of things do you think pertain to life and godliness? Because I think it's kind of everything that we actually want. And he has all these things packed into the gift of his son, Jesus Christ. He's granted everything pertaining to life and godliness to you and me through Jesus Christ, who gave himself as a sacrifice for us so that we don't have to bear the consequences of our sin. Soak in that a little today as you talk to your Creator. He loves you so much! AMEN! Do we remember this when we consider who our God is? He is Love!
There's so much talk in Christian communities about what you are gonna do for the Lord, what we're gonna do for God. God is not seeking for what he can get out of us. That's obvious in the work of the cross. God is a GIVER. He's pouring out every good thing over us through Christ! BUT, I will tell you that a natural response to the love of God is to give. A real excitement for scripture and the Holy Spirit and worship and all of these things is found in the one who is receiving the love of God. And in return that love is coming back up! The filling up is now pouring over. So, those things are definitely a part of the Christian life, and if you don't have them, then the issue is not to try to do them. The issue is that your cup's not full. You're not receiving God's love for you. Know today that you are dearly loved by God. Come to Him and let him care for you and pour out His goodness over your life. Stop worrying about measuring up and just rest in the work of Christ. Knowing that He gave up everything for you and is giving all that He is, and all that He has, FREELY to you as a gift. AMEN. Our God is like, "I'll give up everything. I'll even die a horrible death if you'll just receive me and then we can be together forever." That's the Creator of the Universe. He did that for us!
God became man, took the punishment for our sin, died our death and then rose again just so that He could make a way for you and I to receive Him and be with him forever. He could not stand to separated from us! If you have not already, will you receive Him today? If you believe in your heart that Jesus rose from the dead and you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, you will be saved. He will give you His eternal life and you will be born of His Spirit, forever His child! AMEN. Study Scriptures today: 1 Corinthians Chapter 1.
