If you want to be loving, you have to first be loved. If we really want to be pouring out love for people we first need to receive the Father's love because we cannot give what we don't have.
What I mean by that is simply that you have to come to a revelation and understanding of how much He loves you and what that love actually looks like. And it looks like Jesus Christ dying our death. It looks like Jesus Christ taking our consequences for sin so that we don't have to. That's what it looks like. And so whatever we need to get out of that, that's gonna really be the thing that demonstrates, It explains, it gives us revelation of what love is. Our God loves you so much that He gave it all up, even died a horrible death, just so that He could have you in His life forever. What revelations do you get out of the work of the cross or from the study scriptures listed below?
